Randy and Karen have been serving in Port-au-Prince, Haiti since 2007. They have been blessed with 5 beautiful children, Maia Joy, Levi Casey, Judah Josiah, Luca Cole, and Silas Micah who bring much joy to their lives.
Randy obtained a B.A. from Redeemer University College in 2003, Majoring in Religion and Theology and Physical Education, and Minoring in Missions. Randy has worked for Campfire! Summer Bible Camp for many summers, in such positions as Head Counsellor, Assistant Director and Director. After finishing university, Randy has had jobs as an Elementary School Teacher, and as a framer.
Karen obtained her Diploma at Mohawk College in 2004 in Medical Administration. After that she was employed at Hamilton Health Sciences (McMaster and St.Joseph’s) until she and Randy got married in 2006. Karen was also a Youth Coordinator for Streetlight Ministries in downtown Hamilton, and was Head Counsellor at Campfire! Summer Bible camp in 2006.
Randy and Karen’s paths merged with their wedding in May 2006. Shortly after that they moved down to Haiti and began their service there. They have learned much from their time in Haiti, and their work is characterized by God’s grace in their lives, and wanting to live in that grace, peace and joy. We are glad to be members of the Presbyterian Reformed Church of Delmas, Port-au-Prince.
